Join The Dive Shop as we travel back in time to ancient Egypt. Our adventure starts as we depart from New York heading to the Land of the Pharaohs! On arrival at Cairo International, you will be met and assisted with visa formalities and escorted to your hotel.

During your 3 days in Cairo you will visit the Great Pyramids at the Giza Plateau, the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid of Zoser; the first pyramid ever built, the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities; including the Mummy Room and finally a stop at the El Khalili Bazaar.

Days 5-7: we will fly to Abu Simbel to visit the great Temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. We will then travel to Aswan where we will embark on our Nile Cruise, stopping at such sites as Philae Temple, city of Kom Ombo, Temple of Edfu; temple of Horus the Sun God. Temple of Luxor, ending at one of the most impressive monuments of ancient art and architecture in the world the Karnak Temple.

Day 8: Disembark the ship and cross the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings. Afterwards continue to Deir El Bahri to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, considered being one of the finest buildings in Egypt. You then take a short fight to Sharm El Sheikh, the "Land of Turquoise". Sharm El Sheikh offers rich and elegant seaside resorts and is often called the "Egyptian Riviera" Your resort has all the amenities of a luxury seaside hotel and offers spectacular shore diving and snorkeling.

Day 9: 3 dives including the "masterpiece" of wall dives Ras Mohammed. It has been said that if there were just one dive place in the world to dive that would be Ras Mohammed. The Ras Mohammed Wall extends from Eel Garden in the north to a large rock formation in the south called Shark Observatory. Continue diving for days 10, 11. Day 12 is a day of leisure in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 13/14: Return to Cairo then drive along the Pyramids Road to Alexandria. The next 2 days will be spent exploring the many sites of ancient and modern day Alexandria. Visit the newly opened Alexandria Library, Pompeii Pillar, the underground Catacombs, Roman Greco Theater, Montazah Garden, Museum and Pharos where the Lighthouse stood. You will then have an opportunity to dive into history as you explore the ancient underwater city of Cleopatra and her Palace.

Day 15: Return to Cairo, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 16: Your Ancient Egypt and the Sinai tour comes to an end today as you are escorted to the airport. You arrive home your hearts and minds filled with happy memories of ancient and modern Egypt.
