Discover Tobago, a hidden gem in the Caribbean. This modest sized island boasts a variety of big diving adventures. The island has calm tranquil waters along its western shore offering shallow reefs and the fish laden wreck, the MV Maverick. Along the eastern Atlantic shore bathed in the Guiana Current, diving can range from mild to wild drift dives. Here the current provides lots of nutrients supporting big corals and lots of fish, Including barracuda, jacks, tuna, tarpons, sharks, turtles, and even occasionally manta rays.

Extend your adventure beyond the underwater realm. Tobago’s relaxed atmosphere, pristine beaches, natural wonders, and vibrant culture provide the perfect backdrop for post-dive relaxation and exploration. Take a tour of the island, visit the Fort King George museum, or explore the Western Hemisphere’s oldest protected rainforest.

Welcome to Tobago’s best beach resort the Coco Reef Resort and Spa.  It is situated on the beautiful southwestern coast of Tobago in the town of Crown Point.  Positioned ideally between two of Tobago’s most magnificent beaches; to the West, Store Bay and to the East, the world famous Pigeon Point.  The hotel overlooks its own white sand Coconut Beach.

Unwind in style in a spacious and eloquently coordinated Superior Garden View Room.  Decorated in a pastel decor with wicker furniture and hand made Saltillo tiles, each room features air conditioning, King or 2 Queen beds, mini bar (stocked on request and charged upon consumption), remote controlled cable T.V., and a patio/ balcony overlooking the manicured garden.  Upgrade to a Deluxe Suite with a breathtaking view of Coconut Bay and the Caribbean Sea.

Tobago is known for the density and diversity of its marine life which is unparalleled in the Caribbean. Dives on the Atlantic coast are usually drift dives with the Caribbean coast having virtually no current.

Dives range from 30-130 feet in depth with sites suitable for all experience levels. Entry into the water is usually via backward roll and the exit via ladder. Water temperature is 78-81°F and  Visibility varies between 40-90 feet.

The South Coast is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and hosts the only true drift dives in Tobago. The dive sites are a mixture of coral reef, rocky ledges and wrecks, providing more encounters with Stingrays, Hawksbill Turtles and Nurse Sharks than anywhere else on the island.

The Caribbean Coast stretches from Store Bay to Charlotteville and can generally be described as rock reefs with encrusting sponge and coral growth, but also comprises of wreck diving and pinnacles.
